The Austin Infrastructure Group was the successful low bidder on the East Pecan Street Widening Project for the City of Pflugerville.
The scope of work entails the widening of 3,607 linear feet of the east-bound lane of Pecan Street, immediately east of State Highway 130, building half of the median, and then transforming the east-bound side to a two-lane roadway. Another project to be bid down the road will focus on converting the west-bound lane and finishing the median.
The current project scope of work will also include excavation, embankment, installation of new drainage structures, electrical work, asphalt paving, and new concrete curb and gutter along the length of the project.
The value of this project is $1,851,136.09 and will take approximately six months to complete. Brian Hughes will serve as Project Manager and Patrick Anderson will be the Superintendent.
