Building the New UTEP Interdisciplinary Research Building - Jordan Foster Construction January 3, 2018

Jordan Foster Concrete Specialties was recently awarded the contract for the concrete work on the new UTEP Interdisciplinary Research Building at 900 West University Drive in El Paso.

Scope of work includes drilled piers, retaining walls, culverts, pier caps, grade beams, footings, and SOB columns (continuous flight augers) from level one to level two.

The contract is through Hensel Phelps Construction, with Perkins Will as the architects on the project. Work is currently underway, with a targeted completion date of May 1, 2018.

Frank Licon is serving as Project Manager and Jesus Duarte is Superintendent. Manny Ortiz is the Project Engineer on the job, and Kammy Villalobos and Mary Guerrero are the Administrative Assistants.
