Commemorating Workers' Memorial Day

Commemorating Workers' Memorial Day - Jordan Foster Construction May 25, 2017

As we approach Memorial Day, which commemorates American Soldiers lost in battle, the Construction Industry’s Workers’ Memorial Day took place, as it does every year, on April 28th. It is an international day of remembrance and action for workers who have been killed, disabled, injured or made unwell by their work.

Workers' Memorial Day is an opportunity to highlight the preventable nature of most workplace incidents, and to promote campaigns in the effort for improvements in workplace safety.
