Liberty Property Limited Partnership has awarded Liberty Park in Irving to the Dallas Commercial Division. The architect on the project is GSR/Andrade, and the Civil Engineer is Halff Associates. Liberty Park has the goal of obtaining LEED Silver Certification.
The Liberty Park Project is comprised of two tilt-wall distribution center facilities. The first building is 341,442 square feet with a 32-foot clear height, 79 9’ x 10’ dock-high doors, two 12’ x 14’ ramp doors, and an R-20 roof. There will be 341 total parking spaces, 18 LEV (Low-Emission Vehicle) spaces, and eight handicapped spaces.
The second building is 195,931 square feet with a 28’-foot clear height, 53 9’ x 10’ dock-high doors, one 12’ x 14’ ramp door, and an R-20 roof. There will be 276 total parking spaces, 19 LEV (Low-Emission Vehicle) spaces, and eight handicapped spaces.
Work is commencing this week on mass grading of the site, the forming and pouring of the two building pads, and retaining wall construction. Along with the two buildings, the scope of work includes utilities, an extension of Frye Road, and the grading of an adjacent lot for future development of Building #1.
