On July 24th, the Alameda Avenue & Paisano Drive Intersection Improvements Project in El Paso was dedicated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser, State Representative Cesar Blanco, County Judge Veronica Escobar and City Representative Emma Acosta. Guest speakers also included El Paso District Engineer Bob Bielek, DBA, P.E., San Juan Organization President Fred Borrego, Fox Plaza General Manager Don Schneider, and Jordan Foster Construction Director of Business Development and Community Affairs Joe Gomez.
The Alameda Avenue & Paisano Drive Intersection Improvements Project consisted of the reconstruction and reconfiguration of the existing Alameda Avenue & Paisano Drive Interchange with two modern roundabouts, and a new “T” intersection at El Paso Drive.
The project also included landscaping, improved drainage, the installation of two 8’ x 10’ box culverts that spanned over 400 feet, illumination, sidewalks, and the demolition of the bridge that spanned Paisano Drive and the greater part of the area in front of Fox Plaza.
Jordan Foster Infrastructure was the Primary Contractor on the project, with assistance from several local subcontractors. The Jordan Foster Team included Operations Manager Joseph Ureno, Project Manager Don Jeffery, Assistant PM Scott Dell, Lead Superintendent Gabriel Delgado, Paving Superintendent Omar Flores, and Administrative Assistant Mary Guerrero.
Congratulations to everyone on the Project Team for a job well done.
