On Tuesday, September 20th, the El Paso City Council approved the design-build contract amendment establishing the guaranteed maximum price for the development of the first phase of an 80-acre facility known as the Eastside Sports Complex. Jordan Foster Construction is working with MNK Architects on the project.
On April 11th of this year, the El Paso City Council awarded Jordan Foster a $320,800-contract for the preconstruction services phase of the Eastside Sports Complex, located east of Loop 375 at the intersection of Montwood Drive and John Hayes Street.
The complex will feature seven multiple sports fields, a championship field with shaded seating for up to 500 spectators, sheltered areas with picnic tables and benches, a hiking and biking trail along the complex perimeter, and a food truck service area.
The contract win follows Jordan Foster’s successful, ahead-of-schedule completion in March of the El Paso County Sportspark renovation. Congratulations to everyone in El Paso Commercial and Infrastructure on this new project!
