The competition was steep, with all of the top architectural and general contracting firms in the Metroplex bringing their “A” game to the contest. Some of the notable firms participating include Array Architects, Gensler, HKS, PBK, Quorum Architects, GSR-Andrade Architects, and JE Dunn, Structure Tone, McCarthy, Clark, Hill + Wilkinson, and Austin Commercial.
But when the judging was done, the Jordan Foster/Humphreys & Partners Team came out on top, winning Best in Show with their “Pawhaus.”
Congratulations to everyone who had a hand – or paw – in the design and construction of this great looking, award-winning dog house!

The Bark + Build Doghouse Design-Build Competition not only serves to foster relationships between architectural and contracting firms, it also raises awareness and support for the SPCA of Texas. And you can help.
The Jordan Foster/Humphreys & Partners “Pawhaus” and the 23 other luxury dog homes are being raffled off, with the proceeds benefitting the SPCA and all of their great work.
Visit the SPCA website and click on Pawhaus, or any of the 24 luxury dog homes to see the designs and purchase your raffle tickets. You can buy a raffle ticket for only $5, or a five-pack for just $20.
If you’re in the Dallas area, all of the Luxury Dog Homes will be on display at NorthPark Center through December 5th. The SPCA will also have pets for adoption there at the Pet Adoption Pavilion.
