On Tuesday, October 6th, the U.S. Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) entered into a Strategic Partnership Program for Worker Safety and Health (OSPP) with Jordan Foster Construction in the building of the new corporate campus for Security Service Federal Credit Union in San Antonio, Texas.
Representing Jordan Foster at the signing of the partnership agreement was President & CEO Darren Woody, Executive Vice President Leland Rocchio, Corporate Loss Prevention Director Renee Ramthun, and the two individuals who were instrumental in putting the agreement together – Damian Alvarez, Loss Prevention Manager, San Antonio Region, and David Dahse, Loss Prevention Manager, Security Service Federal Credit Union. Representing OSHA in the signing was Alex Porter, San Antonio Area Director, and Raul Carillo, Compliance Assistance Specialist.
The OSPP recognizes that Jordan Foster’s safety and health program is superior and effective, that the general contractor will maintain the highest level of safety on the job site, and conduct comprehensive, onsite enforcement verification inspections in accord with the approved protocols of the partnership.
The program allows OSHA to then provide incentives to the Jordan Foster Construction Project Team such as outreach, technical assistance, and training, along with guidance in conducting audits and evaluations.
Security Service Federal Credit Union’s new corporate campus is sited on 66 acres off I-10 West near UTSA Boulevard. The new campus will accommodate the credit union’s recent growth, while making room for an additional 200 full-time positions that will be added in the future. Security Service is the largest credit union in San Antonio and Texas with more than $8 billion in assets and 70 locations in Texas, Colorado and Utah.
