San Antonio Infrastructure Initiates Roundabout Work

San Antonio Infrastructure Initiates Roundabout Work - Jordan Foster Construction February 6, 2017

The barricades have been set, and work has begun on the creation of a new roundabout at the five-point intersection of San Pedro, Navarro, Camden, and North Main Avenue in downtown San Antonio.

The City of San Antonio is the client on this Infrastructure project, funded by the 2012-2017 city bond program, and CDM Smith, Inc. is the architect.

View the layout below that illustrates the construction details and the traffic routing patterns of the new roundabout. The project will raise medians, install 10-foot shared-use paths to improve bicycle and pedestrian movement, and include landscaping and a public art component.

Matthew Burges is the Project Manager on the job, Raymond Hernandez is the Superintendent, and Cory Sharp is handling the Administrative duties.

The targeted completion date is December 30, 2017.

Congratulations to everyone who had a hand in securing this great project!
