Caring for all of the animals at the San Antonio Zoo includes providing medical services for all of the species. To provide the best in this aspect of care, the San Antonio Zoo is expanding their current 2,640-square-foot Animal Hospital that’s located in the north portion of the zoo, and Jordan Foster has been awarded the contract to perform the work.
The new expansion will encompass approximately 1,250 square feet, and will include a new surgery room, pharmacy, laboratory, and restroom with a shower. The new addition will meet the requirements of the American Zoo Association veterinary facility standards, and provide an updated facility that will create awareness for animal care and conservation.
Derek Kidd is the Project Manager on the job, Fritz Disch is the Superintendent, and Elizabeth Reyes is the Administrative Assistant.
Congratulations to everyone involved in securing this new contract with the San Antonio Zoo!
