Jordan Foster Construction is seeking a new team member to immediately join our Austin Infrastructure office as our new Receptionist. Qualified candidates should be motived, courteous, and able to work successfully under limited supervision in a fast-paced office environment. The receptionist in our office wears many hats, and as such you will find that Jordan Foster is an excellent place to acquire new skills and grow your career. The Receptionist position’s primary duties revolve around greet guests, answering phones and appropriately directing calls, handling inquiries, sorting and distributing mail, weekly filing, and helping with the entry of payroll (as needed). The responsibilities enumerated below represent the bulk of your duties, but by no means their entirety. We are seeking a candidate that wants to expand their career and help put Jordan Foster in a place where we can all grow together.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet office visitors in a professional, pleasant, and courteous manner, responding to their inquiries and directing them to the proper person as needed
  • Answer and route calls, mail, emails, and all other inquiries and communication
  • Maintain calendar and scheduling of all meeting rooms
  • Assist with meetings by ordering lunch, restocking drinks & snacks, clean up
  • Keep track of and order office & break room supplies on a regular basis
  • Prepare, send, receive and distribute mail and other parcels
  • Ensure cleanliness and order of the lobby, break room, copy room, and other common areas
  • Organize & manage purchase orders, daily superintendent reports & invoices both physically & electronically in our project management system, CMiC
  • Assist the Accounts Payable team by tracking invoices, reviewing monthly statements of accounts as they come in, and logging material and trucking tickets as they are delivered
  • Provide administrative support to various departments and sectors within the organization

Qualifications

  • Office experience preferred
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, namely excel and word
  • Strong sense of professionalism and strong work ethic
  • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) preferred
