Embarcadero Commerce Center - Building 7 is a new 252,000-square-foot distribution center in Laredo, Texas. This facility is a multi-client, multi-industry operations center that serves as a hub for the Logistics Without Borders solution, supporting customer supply chains on both sides of the border. The building is constructed with concrete tilt-up panels and structural steel metal decking. The layout includes flow-through cross docks with 64 bays, 10,320 square feet of office space and a 5,000-square-foot forklift maintenance area. As the first LEED Certified distribution center in Laredo, it features the sustainable design elements of energy-efficient lighting, skylights, low-flow plumbing, a reflective white roof system, storm water run-off containment, and a recycling program. This new site averages 3,600 outbound loads per month, bringing further integration to global trade.
