Encompassing 93,538 gross square-feet and 65,293 net rentable square-feet, the dormitory project for Our Lady of the Lake University is a four-story, wood-frame structure on a concrete slab foundation anchored by driven steel piles. The new dormitory, which is the University's first in 15 years, is comprised of 65 total units, with either two or four beds, housing a total of 234 beds. Building features include a brick façade that matches the existing campus building veneers, with stucco and HardieTrim elements intertwined, student laundry facilities, an adjacent amenity building that hosts a robust fitness center, and a large, landscaped, and irrigated courtyard featuring a volleyball court. Project work included a new paved parking lot, the upgrade and renovation to an existing off-site parking lot, and the addition of an extensive ornamental fence around the on-campus lake.
