Rojas Commons Shopping Center sits on 5.036 acres in east El Paso, Texas and consists of a strip center building with 13,800 square feet with the potential of eleven retail rental spaces. The remaining area consist of three out parcels , two of which have buildings divided into two retail spaces and one is a standalone building that will be a Jason’s Deli restaurant. Total square footage of all buildings is 28,500 square feet.
CF Jordan’s (now Jordan Foster) contract was for shell buildings only with a complete site build out package including concrete, utilities, paving, and irrigation and landscaping. The strip center is constructed of tilt wall concrete wall panels on three sides, structural steel roof framing, and metal stud framing at the storefronts. This is an upscale design with EIFS, cultural stone and four structural towers that are above the roof line enclosed in mil finished metal cladding and windows and topped with standing seam metal roofs.
The out parcel buildings are constructed of structural steel roofs on columns and exterior metal framing finished in EIFS and cultured stone. One of these buildings has two towers described above and the remaining buildings have one tower. All of these buildings have built up main roofs with standing seam roofs on towers.
CF Jordan (now Jordan Foster) coordinated with the AT&T, Time Warner and El Paso Electric Company for their underground utility placement and actually installed the site sewer and water systems that have been accepted by El Paso Water Utilities and Public Service Board as part of their systems.
