Project Size:
305,000 sq. ft.; 112 acres

This design/bid/build project is a combined facility shared by the Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG) and the U.S. Army Reserves (USAR). The two-story project is located at the southeast side of Fort Bliss on a 112-acre site and has parking to accommodate personnel vehicles, visitor’s vehicles, and military vehicles. The site features include loading ramps and vehicle wash areas. The facility provides administrative space, training rooms, weapons and equipment storage, vehicle maintenance bays, a full kitchen, and assembly hall. There is a separate 28,000-square-foot facility that is used by USAR to store equipment and supplies.

CF Jordan (now Jordan Foster) self-performed the earthwork, utilities, and concrete portions of work which accounted for 35% of the total project scope. This allowed us to better manage the schedule and avoid a three-month delay due to owner-incurred force protection design issues.
